Ongoing Projects
What do I get up to when I'm not practicing, did you ask? Some things like these:

Unbound Earth
Travel is one of the most universal human experiences, yet it is never neutral. Every journey carries the weight of words said and left unspoken; memory, language, belonging, and the bodies that cross borders. Unbound Earth is a performance series that asks: what does it feel like to leave? To arrive, adapt, be stopped?
Drawing on piano, flute, electronics, spoken word, and visual projections, this experimental performance series brings together the experiences and creative outputs of Cherry Ge, Lydia Walquist, and Pauline Chow. Together, they propose that music, words, and image might be able to hold together what language alone cannot.
Debut at Avalon Cafe, 27 Aug 2026

The Lost Nightingale
Muriel Herbert was one of the most promising composers of her generation. By her forties, she had stopped - not because her talent ran out, but because marriage and motherhood had taken precedence, leaving no room for her artistic voice.
The Lost Nightingale is an hour-long theatrical concert reimagining her life and music. Directed by Alice Knight and Cherry Ge, this staging creates an artistic conversation between Herbert's original songs and new arrangements, commemorating her talents while asking the question: has anything changed for us a century later?
Premiering at The Playground Theatre in London, April 9th 2027.
